Job Title: Jr Help Desk - New Graduates
Description
This is a 12 month contract position with a strong possibility of extension. It is mandatory that the successful candidate be available to work in a 7 x 24 rotating shift work environment and be a recent grad of a technical College or University with a focus of study in Computer Science or Computer Technology. Title: Junior Help Desk Support (2 Positions) Location: Toronto, ON Type: 12 month renewable contract Hourly Rate based on a 40 hour work week Hourly Rate: $16.00 per hour based on a 40 hour work week. Technical training will be provided: (Windows Active Directory, setting passwords, accounts creations, group share creations etc) This is an entry level position that would suit a recent College graduate who has a strong desire and interest in becoming part of an IT technical group of help desk analysts. To be eligible for this role you should have the following skills: - Education: College Graduate with a focus on Information Technology - MCP OR MCSE certification would be considered an asset (but not a necessity) - Strong hands on knowledge of Windows 2000/2003, Unix, TCP/IP is desirable. Please note that technical comprehension listed within your resume will be discussed in an interview situation. - Excellent English communications skills (oral and written) with effective presentation and documentations skills - At least 1 year basic hardware/software troubleshooting experience. - Excellent customer service skills are required - Strong willingness and desire to learn! Able to take direction and follow through tasks to completion. - Outgoing, personable, strong work ethic, reliable, takes initiative - Be willing to undergo a security clearance check as part of the requirement for this position.
