Job Title: Regional Inside Sales Representative - Technology
Description
Regional Inside Sales Representative 1 year Contract - possible perm role after this date Location: Richmond Hill, ON Overview: This position reports to the Sales Manager, Regional Sales. The Regional Sales Team consists of 3 dynamic inside Sales Professionals who drive incremental sales to the SMB Market across Canada, Each Regional Sales Rep manages an assigned Reseller account list for which they have a sales quota. In addition to their “assigned” list they are actively prospecting for newer accounts which they profile and detail meticulously. Success is based on activity, therefore call volumes and talk time is a key metric. The RSR works closely with the Channel Marketing Division to leverage and present promotions and sales initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for the sales and marketing of Customer's products and service solutions to an assigned reseller list across Canada via the telephone. The successful candidates will be energetic, results driven and dynamic individual. The mission of our SMB Inside Sales Reps lies in impacting Customer's business into the "middle market" by driving Small and Medium Enterprise initiatives, educating our Resellers of all Customer's offerings and driving sales of Customer’s hardware products through the channel. Major Responsibilities: -Drive incremental business through previously unassigned Resellers across Canada -Leverage and promote Customer national marketing programs with these Resellers -Strategically influence the resellers business in the channel to sell Customer's products via telephone calls, emails and responding to all inquiries. -Identify decision makers within the resellers organization through thorough profiling -Determine customer needs and overcome objections -Identify features and benefits and promote the Customer Value Proposition -Provide education and training of Customer's offerings to all Resellers within your territory -Work with the Customer marketing team to promote all programs to resellers -Provide weekly call activity reports Requirements: -Minimum 3 years Inside Sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding results -Previous Sales experience from a VAR or OEM is highly beneficial to this role -Results driven and able to work independently -Demonstrated relationship management skills -Exceptional Customer Treatment skills -Exceptional time management skills -Excellent communication skills both written and verbal -Team player -Previous experience within an insides sales environment -Previous experience in a technology organization would be an asset Education: -Post-secondary required - University degree preferred Resume should provide the following information: - What products were sold in the last two years? - How much of the sales was focused on small-to-medium businesses?
