| Job Title: SAP Project Systems Consultant / Trainer
Location: Toronto, ON
Occasional travel to office in Richmond Hill, ON
Type: 4 month contract - possible extension
Typically 5 days/week, 7 hrs / day
Start date of January 2009 with nominal End Date of April 2009.
Our client requires an SAP Project Systems Consultant / Trainer to assist with use of SAP PS.
In this role, the incumbent will:
-Work with the Business to enhance and improve the use of PS Reporting, project building, PS Project management, & building project templates
-Assist with optimizing the interaction of SAP PS with other SAP modules including PM, CO, and MM
-Deliver training in small groups (1 on 1 to up to 6 staff)
-Document process, training documents, and job aids
-Communicate and explain complex concepts (particilarly pertaining to SAP PS) to staff at various levels of knowledge
-Assist with understanding of and improvements to SAP PS configuration capabilities, extensions, and future road map
Qualifications:
-University degree or related studies, or equivalent experience
- 4 to 7 years of relevant and recent working experience in SAP Project Systems
-Good understanding of the interaction of SAP with other SAP modules including PM, CO, and MM
-Experience and demonstrated knowledge in PS Reporting, project builder, building project templates
-Understanding of Process methodology and use of SAP to enable processes
-Experience with other SAP modules an asset
-Strong organizational and communication skills
-Prior experience in a training role is preferred
-Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities
-Ability to work/liaise effectively with business, IT stakeholders, and vendor representatives
-Relevant experience in utility sector (preferred)
-Understanding of the clients SAP delivered solution would be an asset
