| Based in Calgary a Major Oil and Gas Operator requires a Marketing Analyst
Job Duties/ Accountabilities:
Reporting to the VP Marketing, the Marketing Analyst will perform the following functions:
Verify volumes and pricing on revenue statements
Verify, code and prepare invoices for settlement (includes crude oil, power, sulphur, transportation, commodity hedges)
Consolidate information from third parties to prepare monthly marketing accrual
Review monthly G&A and explain variances as necessary
Reconcile monthly marketing accounting transactions and provide ad hoc reporting
Prepare weekly cash forecast for Treasury
Analyze operations and accounting information to provide monthly Marketing Update
Gather monthly operations and contract information to evaluate reasonableness, completeness and backup for validating cheque exchange activities
Prepare pricing and/or volume information for company price deck, budgeting and forecasting
Education/ Experience Required:
Upstream oil industry experience, including crude oil contract invoicing and may include price verification, price analysis, crude oil scheduling
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance |
