| Our client is searching for a qualified individual to fill the position of Dewatering Specialist based in Calgary for their division ITT Water & Wastewater Dewatering.
Reporting to the Manager, Dewatering and to the Calgary Sales Location Manager, and working closely with other Sales Location employees, the major challenges are:
Market and promote dewatering contracts and services to the construction markets, mining markets, municipal markets and consulting engineers inclusive of construction pump sales to assigned territories and/or customers.
Maintain and develop our market share in the dewatering rental division by creating a successful sales and marketing approach to have ITT W&WW Dewatering regarded as a Canadian National market leader.
Conduct sales activity related to the dewatering division for ITT W&WW.
Manage and develop a territory covering part of Alberta and NWT by identifying new customers, new projects opportunities and maintaining key customer accounts.
Preparing detailed project proposals, closing of contracts and providing customer on-site support.
Work successfully with two or more sales locations to complete projects.
Participate in site installation supervision and conduct minor on-site troubleshooting work.
You have 3 to 5 years of successful experience in a similar rental or dewatering and technical environment and you have earned a technical diploma or certificate. Troubleshooting and customer support experience are required. A self-confident, self-motivated approach and excellent communication/negotiation skills are essential. A valid driver’s license is required, as a company pick up truck will be available to the successful candidate. The position requires frequent travel within the assigned territory and willingness to be available 24/7 for emergency situations. |
