Motor Design Engineer |
| Description |
| Must have a BSEE, MS is preferred, and a minimum of 4 years of design, development, and testing of smaller HP single phase induction motors for high volume manufacture, including designs of motor lamination, windings, insulation systems, etc. Needs to have design knowledge of permanent magnet and three phase motors as well. Will design, develop, and test single phase induction motors for high volume production, identifying and developing new motor technologies for inclusion in designs. Will select most cost effective components, materials, and methods and constantly evaluate ideas for cost reductions and manufacturing processes. Will help in designing control circuit boards and in developing test criteria. Will work with quality to resolve design related issues and problem solutions. |
