Our Vancouver client is seeking to hire a Senior Structural Designer to work in our Project Delivery Group. The designer will assist with various aspects of design work and project development. This challenging position offers an excellent opportunity for career development and practical engineering experience, the opportunity to join a global engineering team, and many challenging and diversified assignments. The position is offered in our Vancouver office; however some travel may be expected.
The Candidate:
The successful candidates will have 10 to 15 years experience and be able to demonstrate the following:
·Proficiency in the use of 3D MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
·Experience in mining and heavy industrial structures.
·Dedicated team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
·Self starter with the ability to work both in a team environment and independently. A Civil Engineering Technology diploma or similar will be considered an asset.
