Responsibilities for this role will include:
- Supervising the activities of construction contractors, with respect to quality of work, and adherence to applicable codes, standards, design documents, schedules and contracts.
- Liaising with the home office design team.
- Coordinating construction and commissioning activities in an operating plant environment
- Developing and maintaining positive, sustainable client relationships.
Qualifications:
Preference will be given to those applicants with:
- A minimum of 10 years relevant experience in mining/mineral process plant construction, or similar heavy industrial construction.
- Experience managing project worth at least $100 million.
- Relevant university degree or a trades background with equivalent proven experience.
- Capability to provide leadership and co-ordination to project team members.
- Ability to oversee the health and safety of contractors working on assigned projects.
- Pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up experience.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills (written and verbal), be self-motivated and have the ability to build good working relationships with those around them.
