Job Title: Bilingual French Office Administrator
Description
The People Bank Markham Office is currently recruiting for our client in the Jewellery industry who is seeking a Bilingual Office Adminstrator. The position pays $36-$38k and is located in Markham. This is a Permanent opportunity. JOB DESCRIPTION: • Process Payables (prepare cheque requests & send for processing) • Answer phone for executive office (retrieve general voicemail) • Process Claims for the Cooperative Advertising Program • Answer calls relating to the Cooperative Advertising Program from accounts • Process/Respond to Donation Requests • Assist with Marketing Functions (such as request artwork & send to publications) • Prepare Employee Time Sheets for Payroll Processing (bi-weekly) • General Filing (electronically and hard copy) • Mail (Incoming, Outgoing, Sales Agents) • Purchasing (Office Supplies, Coffee/Vending Machines) • Booking General Airfare & Coordinate Travel • Arrange Entertainment • Coordinate National Sales Meetings (held twice annually, one offsite) • Compilation of Policy Emails/Notices • Assist with administration for Watch Sample Requests & Sample Line Reconciliation • Assist with processing Markdown Allowances • Planning and preparation of staff events JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Solid Microsoft Office Skills, specifically Word and Excel • Must have strong communication and organizational skills • Ability to Compose and edit business correspondence • Must be a quick learner, proactive, and enjoy a busy environment • French Language Skills would be an asset (for occasional calls from French accounts) • Well groomed appearance to greet walk-in traffic & pleasant phone manners Must have a valid driver’s license & be willing to travel should the need arise SALARY: $36-38k
