| Job Title: Bilingual French Office Administrator |

| The People Bank Markham Office is currently recruiting for our client in the Jewellery industry who is seeking a Bilingual Office Adminstrator. The position pays $36-$38k and is located in Markham. This is a Permanent opportunity.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Process Payables (prepare cheque requests & send for processing)
Answer phone for executive office (retrieve general voicemail)
Process Claims for the Cooperative Advertising Program
Answer calls relating to the Cooperative Advertising Program from accounts
Process/Respond to Donation Requests
Assist with Marketing Functions (such as request artwork & send to publications)
Prepare Employee Time Sheets for Payroll Processing (bi-weekly)
General Filing (electronically and hard copy)
Mail (Incoming, Outgoing, Sales Agents)
Purchasing (Office Supplies, Coffee/Vending Machines)
Booking General Airfare & Coordinate Travel
Arrange Entertainment
Coordinate National Sales Meetings (held twice annually, one offsite)
Compilation of Policy Emails/Notices
Assist with administration for Watch Sample Requests & Sample Line Reconciliation
Assist with processing Markdown Allowances
Planning and preparation of staff events
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Solid Microsoft Office Skills, specifically Word and Excel
Must have strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to Compose and edit business correspondence
Must be a quick learner, proactive, and enjoy a busy environment
French Language Skills would be an asset (for occasional calls from French accounts)
Well groomed appearance to greet walk-in traffic & pleasant phone manners
Must have a valid drivers license & be willing to travel should the need arise
