| Description |
| RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and administer the development, implementation and maintenance of Corporate Wellness programs, policies, procedures and initiatives, including the Employee Assistance, Return to Work & Rehabilitation, Temporary and Permanent Disability Management & Medical Severances, Critical Incident Peer and Immunization programs
• Oversee Human Rights Tribunal cases, including mediating complaints, liaising with legal counsel, preparing submissions and attending Human Rights hearings
• Prepare departmental goals and plans and is accountable for the departmental budget
• Manage department staff including selection, training, motivation and performance management. Provide direction to benefit carriers, EFAP and health care providers
• Maintain relationships, communicates with, advise and resolve issues arising from the application and interpretation of policies, procedures and practices.
• Participates as a member of various joint steering committees including the Cross-Jurisdictional Accommodation Committee, Rehabilitation/Return to Work, Substance Use Disorder. Manage project teams, procedural reviews and program development initiatives
