Our client is seeking to hire a: "Senior Mechanical Engineer"
Job Description:
Our client is currently recruiting for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join their ever-growing team of professionals in our mechanical and piping group within the Edmonton office.
The successful candidate must have 10+ years of heavy industrial experience along with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory capacity. This dynamic department focuses on projects in oil sands, power generation, forestry products and chemical plants. The Edmonton Office specializes in mechanical, piping and materials handling design.
Applicants must have demonstrated abilities working with and managing budgets, proposals, specifications, project schedules and deliverables. The leader of this group must be skilled in the ability to build and mentor a growing team of engineers and technologists. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to develop and maintain business as well as to successfully manage both internal and external clients. Previous experience working in the consulting industry would be an asset, as would experience in operations. Applicants must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
