| Position: Bilingual Customer Support Specialist
Status: Temporary (3 -12 months)
Location: Toronto, ON
In an extremely customer-centric technological environment, the Bilingual Customer Support Specialist works in a shift-based call centre providing expert advice to customers and is responsible for the total customer experience.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to both English and French telephone and email requests in a timely manner
• Using a customized AS400 system, complete all rental requests relating to video conferences of a multiple location, multiple technology or public meeting room nature
• Work in cooperation with internal operations to process time sensitive reservation requests
• Provide customers with quotes and arrange site testing
• Ensures all open reservation requests and outstanding customer issues are resolved through verifying completion of order
• Must meet or exceed predetermined company specific goals
Requirements:
• Fluently Bilingual – must have both English and French verbal and written skills
• Minimum 6 months calls centre experience
• 3-5 years demonstrated customer service experience
• Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Windows XP, ability to navigate the Internet with ease)
• Professionalism and exceptional interpersonal and organization skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to build excellent internal and external working relationships
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on quick changing conditions
• Analytical skills to evaluate and resolve issues
• Ability to escalate and communicate major issues to appropriate individuals / levels
• Fact-finding ability, sound judgment and decisiveness to determine best value-added solution while respecting customers
• Initiative to maximize every activity on the job to grow the business
• Highly developed time-management skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision
• Preference will be given to those with knowledge of telecom industry or other technical experience
